CKnet: Is there a symbolism behind this tattoo?
Christel Khalil: The symbolism for this new one is because I’m a Christian and the whole thing is me being redeemed, so I got redemption!

CKnet: How many tattoos do you have and any plans for additional tattoos?
Christel: I have 5 tattoos and plan on getting one more on my side.

Guess who landed a guest starring role on NCIS LA? If you answered Christel Khalil then you would be correct. No air date as of yet however we will keep you updated. Shooting begins on Monday. CONGRATULATIONS, Christel!

Foundation and Concealer
DM: Because Christel is of mixed heritage;her foundation is also mixed! I use a combination of L’Oreal True Match and HiP (different shades each time depending on her tan). Her concealer has an orange under base, to hide imperfections (which, of course, she has none!).

Eyes
DM: I gave her a ‘daytime’ smokey eye, which I prefer unless were doing a High Glam shoot. I started with concealer on the lid, it’s the only way to get the true color of the eye shadows. Then applied a brownish burgundy shadow (NYX cosmetics) to the entire lid, and just under the lash line. The added a Teal shimmer shadow lightly on top of the Burgundy from the inner corners to the middle of her lid, blending it out before reaching the outer corner. Then I used a brown HIP liner pencil all along the lash line, getting a slight point at the outer corner, and lining the lower lashes with a sharp point, as close to the las line as possible. Then lightly smudge both upper and lower lines with a Q tip. Then line the upper lashes with black gel liner from HIP with a fine tip brush, as close to the lashes as possible.

Next, coat the lashes with Maybelline Volume Express mascara in blackest black, apply it thickest at the base of the lash, use two coats. Then use a soft brown eyeliner on the inner rim of the eyes, top and bottom. I don’t like fill in the eyebrows when it’s a daytime smokey eye, so just brush the brows up and set with a little hard wax (I like Chapstick) or hairspray on a toothbrush.

Lips
DM: Her lips are perfect, so I use a sheer Gel lip liner from Prestige in ‘Pomegranate’ (unfortunately, it’s been discontinued), it’s a sheer burgundy/iced tea color. Fill in the entire lip, then top with Kiehl’s lip balm.

Cheeks
DM: For blush, use Rimmel Bronzer in #021(sun kissed), on the forehead, and middle of cheeks, really blending out the edges. Then use True Match Blush in ‘baby blossom’ just on the balls of cheeks, to just under outer corner of the eyes, really blend!

1. Where do you like to vacation?

Anywhere that’s outside of the country. My favorite place thus far has been Hawaii.

Anyone who can look at someone and see what God loves about them.

Mac!!!

4. Do you go to restaurants and movies by yourself?

I’ve only been once and I loved it. Having a baby has seriously cramped my movie style.

5. What is your favorite fairy tale or childhood story?

Never got told any . Thanks mom!

6. Are you an Optimist or Pessimist?

Um, a little of both. Depends on the situation. But I guess maybe a little bit more of a pessimist.

7. Can you knit or crochet?

I can knit. But only scarves. I can’t make anything else unfortunately.

8. Are you patient?

Absolutely not! I’m trying to be but I’m the youngest. So that genetically makes me a brat.

9. Would you Bungee Jump?

Absolutely! Been skydiving already. So bungee jumping shouldn’t be that different.

10. What is your favorite ice cream?

Coffee ice cream and mint chocolate chip.

11. Favorite Smells?

A great candle. Love the wallflowers from bath and body works as well.

12. Favorite Words?

Anything from the bible. It encourages me on a daily basis and gives me answers when I so desperately need them.

13. Do you believe in ghosts?

Yes. I’ve seen a couple…spooky!

14. Sing in the car?

Of course! That’s my stage

15. Were you named after anyone?

No

16. If You were another person would you be friends with you?

Definitely! I can be crazy but I’m a good listener and am always there for my friends.

17. Do you use sarcasm alot?

Is this a trick question? I’m the QUEEN of sarcasm. Pretty much in my circle my name is synonymous with sarcasm.

18. Last movie you watched?

Crazy Stupid Love. I have an imaginary love affair with Ryan Gosling.

Purple

20. What drives you every day?

Jesus. Without Him, I am nothing and can do nothing.
