Biography

Christel Adnana Mina Khalil was born on November 30, 1987 in Los Angeles, CA (where she continues to live and work). She is of a mixed descent; a beautiful blending of Pakistani, African, and Native American.

Christel has three older brothers and has been acting since the age of five. Some of Christel’s credits include “Matilda”, “White like the Moon”, “Malcom in the Middle” “The Sinbad Show” and “That’s so Raven” and many more but Christel is most famous for her Emmy nominated and winning role of Lily Amanda Winters on daytime’s number one drama “The Young and the Restless”.

Christel was also awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series in 2008.

On September 21, 2008 Christel married musician Stephen Hensley and divorced in 2011.  Christel and Stephen welcomed a son, Michael Caden Hensley on April 17, 2010.

Christel is a known animal lover and has three rescued dogs; Rocky, Buster, and Mimzy. A cause near and dear to her heart is Karma Rescue, known to help rescued animal.

Christel is known to have a great sense of humor and enjoys being spontaneous but yet appreciates order. In her down time she plays guitar and sings. She is also and active member in her church and also enjoys dancing & horseback riding.
